CHEE 317 Mass Transfer Operations

Students are introduced to the concepts of diffusion and mass transfer. These concepts are then applied to the analysis and design of unit operations and separation processes. Separation processes examined include distillation, gas absorption, stripping and liquid-liquid extraction. Design skills are developed through applications in enhancing product purity and treating contaminated liquid and gas streams.
