This course introduces students to hydrology and hydrologic design. Key concepts in global hydrology and regional hydrology are introduced. Hydrological processes of precipitation, infiltration, evapotranspiration, runoff, baseflow, and others are covered as well as flood frequency analysis. Minor and major system concepts are covered. Stormwater management principles, concepts and tools are introduced and applied to the design of storm conveyance and storage elements in the built environment.(12/0/0/24/12) PREREQUISITE: CIVL 350
