When Canadian businesspeople enter the Asia-Pacific Rim countries, they must realize that the laws, customs, business practices, socio-political infrastructure etc. are markedly different from those in Canada. The objective of this course is to identify such differences and to analyze and predict the influences of different socio-cultural and political norms and values on international business operations and business decision-making.
