GISC 304 3-D Visualization of Natural Systems

A detailed analysis of the techniques for handling 2.5-D and 3-D data in GIS and Remote Sensing. Introduction to computer graphics fundamentals, software-based scientific animation and visualization systems, 3D GiS and RS tools, and spatiotemporal modelling environments. Specific emphasis on terrain analysis and in the vector and raster domains.
