A variety of intellectual approaches will be integrated in an interdisciplinary exploration of some of the major challenges facing the world community. Examination of such issues as the environment, poverty, disease, human rights, cultural identity or armed conflict will be used to stimulate discovery of what constitutes ‘global engagement’.
