An introduction to prominent Italian women writers of the 20th century. The works of authors such as Grazia Deledda, Natalia Ginzburg, Anna Maria Ortese, and Elsa Morante will be studied using various critical methodologies including those drawn from feminist, semiotic, psychoanalytic, and sociological approaches.
