This course provides students with a socio-cultural analysis of the Olympic Games through a critical examination of key aspects of the Games’ history, their organizational structure, women’s relationship to the Games, performance enhancing substances, and the work world of high performance athletes. PREREQUISITE Fourth-year standing in BPHEH or BSCH KINE.
