A general course providing insight into the role immunology plays in health and disease. Social and political issues associated with the increasing importance of this field will be discussed. Topics will include vaccines, immune system stimulators, organ transplants, allergies, cancer, AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. Offered in Spring Term only. NOTE
