This course will help students develop critical perspectives towards technology in general and engineering practices in particular. It is cross-disciplinary in its approach, drawing materials from mainstream ‘applied’ sciences, as well as from critical approaches associated with ‘social’ sciences, such as feminism, anti-racism, anarchism, marxism, and radical ecology. PREREQUISITE Second-year standing or above. EXCLUSION MDEP 221.
