GISC 303 Application Design and Customization in GIS F 2-1-0 3

An introduction to customization of GIS and database software with an emphasis on spatial analysis tool development for desktop and Web-based GIS. Students will learn concepts of user requirements analysis, software requirements preparation, interface and software design, and computer programming while they develop customized GIS applications. (4/16/6/4/6) PREREQUISITES: GISC 201 or GISC 202 or GEOE 463 (GEOL 463) or permission of the Department of Geography
